Experiential Designer (Contract)
We’re looking for a talented Experiential Designer to join our dynamic team in Portland, OR. Our ideal candidate has a background in environmental design, architectural design, or Interior Design and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where storytelling and environmental design come together.
Responsibilities:
- Emphasis on brand experiences, incorporating graphic design and brand strategy into physical environments.
- Work in 3D to bring experiential designs to life.
- Create CADs and produce design development drawing sets, including plans, elevations, RCPs, and details.
- Apply a strong understanding of materials and material finishes in design execution.
- Create, own, and deliver pitch and presentation decks of agency design projects.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and independently as needed.
- Take direction effectively and contribute to a positive, creative work environment.
- Participate in on-site work as required.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Architecture or Interior Design (or equivalent experience).
- Proficiency in CAD and the ability to create detailed design development drawings.
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite.
- Ability to model and visualize in 3D.
- Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and fabrication methods.
- Prior experience in a design-build agency is a plus.
- Must be able to work on-site in our Portland, OR office.
