GLGR designed and curated a 30,000 square foot environment, celebrating 50 years of Nike Running DNA at the World Athletic Championships - Oregon 2022. It took careful consideration with special recognition of Nike athletes, their insights, and the collaboration that resulted in innovative footwear and apparel. With a fully functioning interactive sports museum at the entrance of the space the attendees were instantly transported into the history of running. Encasing multiple stories of track, all attendees could spend time learning the roots of Nike. Athletes had multiple activations to interact with which included historic photo moments, a community space that housed Nike DNA product displays, a relaxation room, and much more. The production at the space spanned 4 floors and included an outdoor patio. A special interest was focused towards the customization area for apparel and footwear. Athletes were able to design their own T-shirt that were printed on-site. Through design, fabrication, installation, and production, our team brought this entire space to life in less than 3 months.
